At the end of Q3 2019, the total office stock reached 3.16 mln. sq m; out of which 53% is represented by class A office buildings.
During the first nine months of 2019, 10 projects were delivered as new supply, meaning 254,000 sq m. 52% of the new supply is located in West sub-market. By the end of 2019 we expect another 81,600 sq m to be delivered.
The general vacancy rate for Bucharest registered an increase from 8.7% in Q2 2019 to 9.3% at the end of Q3 2019. Still, within class A and B properties with good location and accesibility to metro/ public means of transport, the vacancy rate continues to be at sustainable levels, of under 10%. The vacancy rate for class A properties is 5.5%.
